Band Camp 2025 Information
Band Camp 2025 will be held on Grounds from August 11-22. EACH SEGMENT OF OUR BAND HAS A UNIQUE ARRIVAL DATE.
- Monday, August 11
- All drumline, colorguard, and twirler members should arrive in Charlottesville. Those who will live on Grounds in the fall will check into temporary housing at the Graduate Hotel beginning at 6 PM.
- Tuesday, August 12
- Drumline, colorguard, and twirler pre-camps begin. All Music Leaders and Drill Leaders should arrive in Charlottesville. Those who will live on Grounds in the fall will check into temporary housing at the Graduate Hotel beginning at 6 PM.
- Wednesday, August 13
- Drumline, colorguard, and twirler pre-camps continue. Leadership pre-camp begins.
- Thursday, August 14
- Drumline, colorguard, twirler, and leadership pre-camps continue.
- Friday, August 15
- Early Dormitory move-in day for CMB members (Full CMB should be in Charlottesville by noon) for a 12 PM move-in start time (tentative).
- Saturday, August 16–Friday, August 22
- Full CMB Band Camp activities. Band Camp goals include:
- Learning the entire pregame show (12 minutes, approximately 35 drill pages)
- Learn Part 1 of the first halftime show
- Perform at the Farmington Country Club
- Perform at the Wahoo Welcome in Scott Stadium

A more detailed band camp schedule will be available on the CMB’s Live Schedule (please bookmark) as we near August.
**First year members: Student Affairs has graciously offered for you to receive your required Wahoo Welcome training starting Friday evening. The first required training event is the Wahoo Welcome at Scott Stadium, at which the CMB performs––you will be able to perform with the band. We will work with Student Affairs to ensure you know where and when you will receive your remaining required Wahoo Welcome trainings. All Wahoo Welcome trainings are required.
